Thermal deposition of glycidyl azide polymer studied by synchrotron photoionization mass spectrometry

Article Abstract:

The thermal decomposition reactions and products of glycidyl azide polymer (GAP) at low pressure are investigated by using tunable synchrotron vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) photoionization and molecular-beam sampling mass spectrometry. It is observed that thermal decomposition of GAP began at a lower temperature that is 70 degree C compared to 170 degree C in the air.

Characterization of heterogeneously functionalized dendrimers by mass spectrometry and EPR spectroscopy

Article Abstract:

A study to quantify loadings in heterogeneously functionalized dendrimers using the mass spectrometry and EPR spectroscopy was conducted. The results indicated that the coupling reactions were shown to go to completion for all the reactions studied, independent of the sequence of the reaction under the employed conditions.
