Thermal evolution of carbon-supported Pd nanoparticles studied by time-resolved X-ray diffraction

Article Abstract:

Time-resolved X-ray diffraction measurements are performed in situ on a carbon-supported Pd particles (Pd/C) catalyst during two successive thermal treatments from 300 to 873 K. The structural and micro structural evolution of Pd phases on a Pd/C catalyst as a function of thermal treatment, in a wide temperature range, using the TR-XRD technique is investigated.

Thermal evolution of acetylene overlayers on pd(111)

Article Abstract:

A study of the acetylene transformation on Pd(111) with temperature by using high resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS) is presented. A spectral normalization method is used to compare the intensities of vibrational bands as a function of temperature and has proved to be useful in analysis of the temperature dependence of the surface species.

Kinetics and growth mechanism of electrodeposited palladium nanocrystallites

Article Abstract:

A research is conducted to examine the kinetics of the electrodeposition process and growth mechanism of such three-dimensionally grown palladium particles. The results indicate that the growth of the palladium electrodeposits was limited by the diffusivity of bulky palladium tetrachloro square-planar complex from bulk solution to near the electrode surface.
