Two-dimensional heterospectral correlation analysis of wide-angle X-ray scattering and infrared spectroscopy for specific chemical interactions in weakly interacting block copolymers

Article Abstract:

Two dimensional correlation spectroscopy of infrared (IR) spectroscopy as well as 2 dimensional wide-angle X-ray scattering (WAXS)-IR heterospectral correlation spectroscopy is used to investigate in detail the phase behavior of polystyrene-block-poly(n-pentyl methacrylate) copolymers (PS-PnPMA). It is found that the synchronous 2D WAXS-IR heterospectral correlation spectrum of the ordered state is completely different from that in the two disordered states.

Characterization of concentration-dependent infrared spectral variations of urea aqueous solutions by principal component analysis and two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy

Article Abstract:

By applying principal component analysis and two dimensional correlation spectroscopy to concentration dependent FTIR spectra of aqueous urea solutions, the association behavior of urea as a function of urea concentration was elucidated. In the PCA, the spectral changes with increasing urea concentrations could be reconstructed using two principal components.

Electrochemistry of conductive polymers. 34. Two-dimensional correlation analysis of real-time spectroelectrochemical data for aniline polymerization

Article Abstract:

Electrochemical polymerization of aniline is studied using real-time spectrochemical experiments conducted concurrently with potentiodynamic scans in a nitric acid electrolyte with its pH adjusted to 0.50. Two-dimensional correlation spectral analysis and subsequent extraction of pure component spectra led to positive identification of intermediate species.
