Two-dimensional pulsed EPR studies of vanadium-exchanged ZSM-5

Article Abstract:

The pulsed electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) technique of hyperfine sublevel correlation spectroscopy(HYSCORE) is used to obtain structural information about vanadium(VO(super 2+))-exchanged ZSM-5. HYSCORE spectra are obtained for vanadium-exchanged ZSM-5 before and after dehydration and after the adsorption of ammonia.

High resolution [super 15]N NMR of the 225 K phase transition of ammonia borane (N[H.sub.3]B[H.sub.3]): Mixed order-disorder and displacive behavior

Article Abstract:

The high resolution [super 15]N NMR probing of the solid-solid phase transition of ammonia borane (N[H.sub.3]B[H.sub.3]) is analyzed. The results show that there exists a mixed order-disorder and displacive behavior in the transition of ammonia, as its rotor motion plays a very important role in the transition mechanism.

Preparation and optical properties of prism-shaped GaN nanorodsocn compounds

Article Abstract:

The preparation of large quantities of prism-shaped GaN nanorods by a thermal CVD reaction between Ga and NH3 on LaAlO3 crystal substrates is described. The distinct morphology of these nanorods is examined.
