Two-photon absorption properties of self-assemblies of butadiyne-linked bis(imidazolylporphyrin)

Article Abstract:

The Supramolecular porphyrin self-assemblies were prepared from butadiyne-linked bis(imidazolylporphyrin) by complementary coordination of imidazole to zinc. The two-photon absorption (2PA) and higher-order nonlinear absorption properties were investigated over femtosecond time scales using an open-aperture Z-scan method.

Structure of the liquid-vacuum interface of room-temperature ionic liquids: A molecular dynamics study

Article Abstract:

Molecular dynamics simulations for the liquid--vacuum interface of the ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium nitrate were performed for both electronically polarizable and nonpolarizable potential energy surfaces. The results revealed that the electronic polarization effect is important for the ionic liquid interface.

Dynamics of liquid structure relaxation from criticality after a nanosecond laser initiated T-jump in triethylamine-water

Article Abstract:

The triethylamine (TEA)/water system that provides a classic base model for phase separation in a relatively simple mixture is studied. This mixture has a lower critical consolute temperature and is also convenient for inducing phase-separation.
