Vapor pressure and related thermodynamic properties of (super 36)A

Article Abstract:

The (super 36)Ar-(super 40)Ar vapor pressure isotope effect in the liquid and solid phases is determined at about 100 temperatures between 83 and 97 K using a high-accuracy double-differential manometric technique. The measurements of absolute and differential vapor show an estimated accuracy of 0.15% and .001% respectively, with respect to the absolute vapor pressure of argon. The vapor pressure of (super 36)Ar is found to be higher than that of (super 40)Ar by about 0.5%.

Prediction of permeation properties of CO2 and N2 through silicalite via molecular simulations

Article Abstract:

The molecular simulation of the sorption thermodynamics and steady-state permeation kinetics of nitrogen and carbon dioxide in silicate are studied. Using the Darken equation and assuming a concentration-independent corrected diffusivity the study has calculated intracrystalline permeabilities and their rations for the three gases from the simulation results.

Thermodynamic and dynamic interfacial properties of binary carbon dioxide-water systems

Article Abstract:

Elasticity measurements were done using a drop tensiometer to regulate the drop area and measure the interfacial tension between H2O and CO2. The filling of cluster cavities was obtained by means of the hill equation, which permitted the analysts to determine that the filling depended on temperature.
