t-butyl nitrite (TBN) and t-butyl alcohol (TBA) reactions on clean and O-covered Rh

Article Abstract:

The reactions of t-butyl nitrite (TBN) and t-butyl alcohol (TBA) on clean and O-covered Rh foils are investigated with the help of time-of-flight mass spectrometry temperature-programmed desorption and Auger electron spectroscopy. The t-butoxy decomposes to acetone and butene through a transiet form of the oxtametallacycle involved in TBN.

Size dependent reaction kinetics on supported model catalysts: a molecular beam/IRAS study of the CO oxidation on alumina-supported Pd particles

Article Abstract:

Molecular beam techniques are used in combination with IR reflection absorption spectroscopy to study the CO oxidation kinetics on oxide-supported model catalysts. In this study, size 100 Pd particles are compared with size 2700 Pd particles.

Two-dimensional effects on the in situ infrared spectra of CO absorbed at palladium covered Pt(111) electrode surfaces

Article Abstract:

An analysis is made of the in situ infrared spectra obtained for CO saturated palladium layers deposited on platinum. This is done by the correlation of the C-O bond with cyclic voltammogram.
