Dithiadiazafulvalenes: Promising precursors of molecular materials

Article Abstract:

Dithiadiazafulvalenes (DTDAFs) as compared to tetrathiafulvalenes (TTFs), appear to be a bit of an outsider in the field of molecular conductors. These unrecognized precursors of organic materials present striking properties as compared to their sulfur analogues the TTFs, due to the presence of the nitrogen atom into the fulvalene skeleton.

Synthesis of thiiranes by direct sulfur transfer: the challenge of developing effective sulfur donors and metal catalysts

Article Abstract:

The investigation of a sulfur-transferring agent, stoichiometric episulfidation, is presented. Its synthetic value is outlined and the efficacy of the sulfur donors is examined.
