DemoScan

Article Abstract:

DemoScan software programs provide demographic software in a system that can be tailored to fit individual needs. This system combines ranking, cross-tabulation, and selection programs which is an efficient alternative. DemoPacs are data files of census statistics. The Report Writer is geared toward producing standard reports. Utilities is a supplementary program that allows changes of data on DemoPacs. Select and Aggregate create datasets from the DemoPacs by selecting subsets or by merging geography. DemoMath involves spreadsheet functions which can create new variables. Tables show sample demographic reports.
