Imaging with mass spectrometry

Article Abstract:

A discussion of several of the critical and experimental issues connected with imaging mass spectrometry is presented. Particular attention is given to the possibilities for molecule-specific imaging. Imaging mass spectrometry is having an effect on a range of research areas, but the implementation of imaging mass spectrometry experiments is still only at its earliest stages.

Mass spectrometry of aerosols

Article Abstract:

There have been significant developments in the area of aerosol mass spectrometry. Developments in instrument technology have significantly boosted the performance of on-line aerosol mass spectrometers, although off-line analysis remains restricted by filter sampling and possible change of the aerosol prior to analysis.
