Metal to insulator transitions in clusters

Article Abstract:

An alternative definition is proposed whereby clusters can be considered metallic when the gap bedclusterstween occupied and unoccupied states at E(sub F) is consistently smaller than or equal to the Kubo band gap delta. The experimental findings of photoelectron spectroscopy of anionic clusters to analyze band gaps of various cluster families.

Formation of novel rare-gas molecules in low-temperature matrices

Article Abstract:

A new class and other related types of compounds of noble-gas atoms are discussed. The results reveal that this field of research is at a very nascent stage and lot of research is still required to overcome its main problems.
