C-One's Pretec PC card garners CETRA accolade

C-One Technology Corp.'s Pretec fax and modem PC card has received the "It's Very Well Made Award in Taiwan" award from the China External Trade Development Council (CETRA) of Taiwan. The cards, operating under the X2 technology, enables users to download as much as 56Kbps with the use of ordinary phone lines, a process that increases the rate of transmissions without the corresponding upgrades. CETRA gives the award to deserving firms based on the product's quality, design, innovation level, marketing and brand awareness.
