Elmo's LCD data projector joins brightness battle

Article Abstract:

Elmo Company Ltd has introduced a new data projector to the market. The EDP-6000 liquid crystal display projector delivers a brightness of 1,900 lumens and is fully compatible with high definition XGA. It can also support higher definition SXGA and UXGA images by digital compression display. The device accommodates 30- to 300-in screens depending on the size of the presentation space. It also offers 2X, 4X and 8X digital zoom, enlarged screen scroll, strobe and reproduction screen freeze functions as well as a digital progressive system.

Canon's multimedia projectors exudes excellent brightness, presents big picture

Article Abstract:

Canon Inc of Japan has introduced its two new models of projectors. The 6.6-kg, portable LV-7500 features a large-diameter multigroup f/1.8 projection lens systems with 13 elements in 19 groups for fne resolution and low distortion. It delivers true XGA output with 1,024 x 768 resolution with a maximum brightnes of 1,400 ANSI lumens. The LV-5300 features 90% uniform brightness and has a 250:1 contrast ratio. The model delivers 600 ANSI lumens with high resolution and low distortion quality.
