Casio Introduces Its New 16-Bit Personal Computer

The Casio personal computer is a 16-bit business system. It runs under the MSDOS operating system. Programming languages include BASIC, COBOL, FORTRAN and PASCAL. Applications include electronic spreadsheet, word processing and communications functions. This personal computer provides a memory capacity that expands to 768kb RAM.

Casio Computer Targets Monthly Production of 500,000 Analog Watches

An increased demand for analog watches has resulted in three new series by Casio Computer Ltd. The watches contain second, minute, and hour hands. They are expected to sell between 6,000 and 28,000 yen. Approximately 500,000 analog watches are scheduled for production each month.
