Color quality sets Canon's CLC copiers apart from competitors

Article Abstract:

Canon offers the CLC900 series of color copiers, which incorporates the company's latest image-processing technology for enhanced accuracy in reproducing green. The CLC900 copiers handle 400dpi and 256 gradations and deliver 7cpm in color or 28cpm in black and white. The series includes an option for an embedded raster image processing (RIP) controller, which allows connection to computer networks. The copiers can also work as a color management system for Macintoshes and for IBM-PC and compatible machines.

Collaboration, cost-of-ownership define Canon's digital system, business

Article Abstract:

Canon Inc has launched several strategies to boost the market for its digital system products. The company said that it will launch new products that reduce the workforce, time and cost to its customers. Canon's digital models cover from 18 cpm to 60 cpm, with 80% of the machines serving as network printers. Canon added that is targetting the expanding international markets particularly, Europe, China and India.
