Dynamic touch distinguishes Casio's digital cameras from competition

Article Abstract:

Casio Computer Co. Ltd.' QV-5000SX is a lightweight digital camera with a 1.31-million-pixel CCD, offering record sequences of 32, 48 or 64 frames at shutter speed of around 0.1 second per frame. The product is the latest of the QV line, which promises easy operation and compactness. Casio intends to make 20,000 units of the QV-5000SX camera every month. The camera has an LCD monitor for viewing the images and it also features automatic focus, a flash with four models, and a rapid image reproduction.

Casio Computer Company Ltd's launching of its Cassiopeia handheld computers make the Japanese firm a key player in mobile networks. The product, which was received warmly in the US, made an entry into various English-speaking countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Casio is poised to expand its information equipment business with its E-10 palmtop computer and E-20 handheld computer with a keyboard.
