Article Abstract:

It is believed that successful office automation (OA) managers must recognize resistance to change and convert the negative energy into an improvement in performance. Enlightened managers can identify a time in their past when their intuitive feelings were validated by someone they respected, and rely on their emotions as a processing language of intutions. Only after managers have learned to manage their own emotions can they assist negative thinkers around them.

Article Abstract:

Office ergonomics have proved to have a direct relationship to improved employee morale and increased productivity, yet ergonomic guidelines are not often a part of corporate policy. Ergonomic factors, such as office furniture, lighting, and noise control, should be a major concern of management in the office automation area. A safer, healthier, and more comfortable workplace enhances workers' performance.
