In-House Printing: More Options, More Flexibility

Article Abstract:

Several options are available to meet office copying needs, including distributed copying on personal copiers. Selection of a copier solution should be made with the final products needed in mind. Collating solutions include sorting units, automatic document feeders, and laser printers. Laser printers automatically typeset and paginate documents, producing collated copies, but at a high cost. Small copiers include both low-range (personal) copiers and convenience models. Ink jet printers and offset presses are also used in office applications. Photographs of copier solutions and a flowchart of copier methods are included.
