New Equipment: Dictation Systems Offer Flexibility and Ease of Use

Article Abstract:

Dictaphone Corporation has announced new desktop dictation-transcription systems for voice processing. The DictaMate 3360 microcassette dictation-transcription unit records up to one hour and can do telephone and conferencing recording. It costs $495. The DictaMate 1350 has separate dictation or transcription functions. The DictaScribe 2960 is a remote transcription playback unit which holds up to fifteen cassettes. It costs $2,495. A photograph of the DictaMate 3360 is included.

New Equipment: Endless-Loop Dictation System Offers a 'Hot Line'

Article Abstract:

The Thought Tank Recorder 1925 system consists of a handset dictating terminal, a transcription terminal with headset and foot pedal, and one-quarter inch magnetic tape. Features of the system include a 'Hot Line' button which, when pushed, marks off a section of dictation for priority transcription. A special dictation module allows dictation, by a person or from a portable cassette player, to be transmitted to the System 1925 twenty-four hours a day.

Endless-Loop Dictation System Offers a 'Hot Line' to High- Priority Messages

Dictaphone Corp. introduced its Thought Tank Recorder 1925 which features a special warning 'hot line' button. It can perform dictating and transcription functions simultaneously. It allows the creation of a voice network, and can be accessed twenty-four hours a day.
