The use of integrated text and graphics appears to be a more successful mode of communicating complex information than the use of one or the other in isolation. Such is the conclusion of a study undertaken by the Compugraphic Center for Effective Communication, founded by the Compugraphic Corp. in an effort to discover ways of reducing some of the pressure created by what is often called the information explosion.
