Intel, Platinum form strategic partnership

Intel Corp and Platinum Technology Inc have entered into a strategic partnership that involve the development, licensing, sales and marketing of desktop systems. Intel has made an equity investment in Platinum and will license Platinum's ProVision integrated systems and Open Enterprise Management integration technology into its LANDesk products. On the other hand, Platinum will make Intel's LAN-Desk Configuration Manager into a hardware-independent technology.
