The device, which also provides 363 activity counters, uses a CMOS RAM with a backup nickel-cadmium battery. G-225 has a multiple-clerk entry function that enables changing of clerks in a single transaction and needs a mere single-digit clerk sign-in code to track nine clerk totals. The cash register comes standard with a drawer lock, while adopting a flexible keyboard design and a two-station drum printer offering output at three lines per second.
