LCD projector produces 1,200 ANSI lumens

Article Abstract:

Fujitsu Limited has released the PJ-S1200, an LCD projector capable of producing 1,200 ANSI lumens. The PJ-S1200, available for 898,000 yen ($7,071), has improved light permeability, the factor that enable the VGA and XGA compatible projector to show images of up to 300 inches in diameter. Fujitsu has also released the PJ-X700, valued at 980,000 yen ($7,717) that is capable of projecting XGA images at 700 ANSI lumens and the PJ-S400, worth 698,000 yen ($5,496) and capable of showing XGA images at 400 ANSI lumens.

Panasonic's XGA projectors attain brightness of 2,200 lumens, accept most video signals

Panasonic Broadcast and Television Systems Co launches the PT-L797 Series of ultra-bright XGA projectors, which comprise the PT-L797PWUL with 2,200 lumens (ANSI) and an optional lens, the PT-L797PWU with 2,200 lumens and the PT-L797VU with 1,500 lumens. All the products boast of Panasonic's BriteOptic built-in dual lamp system that has a light integrator system capable of delivering the power of two strong-intensity light sources via a fine-precision prism.

Large aperture lifts projectos's brightness to 1,400 lumens

Article Abstract:

Fujitsu General Ltd's recently launched LPF-6200 LCD projector, which features a large-aperture lens, boasts of 1,400 lumens (ANSI) to offer a level of brightness 40% greater compared with the company's comparable LPF-5200 version. Adopting an Ultra High Power 120W lamp, the LPF-6200 model can accommodate XGA images with 2.36 million pixels because it employs three 1.3-in polysilicon LCD panels.
