Speaking the Language of PC Software

Article Abstract:

Many high level languages are available to the PC user who wants to write programs. Languages are designed for operation on a range of scientific or business applications using numerical or non-numerical data. Languages profiled include FORTRAN, BASIC, COBOL, and PASCAL. Write Your Own In-House PC Software

Article Abstract:

Commercial applications software packages are often unable to meet the specific needs of a personal computer user and cannot easily accommodate changes. It is possible for a non-programmer to write customized applications programs. To do so, the problem must be clearly defined and the solution planned out. If this is done well, coding the program becomes relatively simple. Step-by-step instructions are given for program development. A simple program flowchart is included.
