Article Abstract:

Honeywell Information Systems introduced the Office Management System (OMS) 40 and OMS 90, integrated computer systems for departments that lack extensive technical expertise yet have sophisticated electronic needs. The systems can support four to thirty-four users and feature OAS software with the new spelling verifier and corrector based on the American Heritage Dictionary. Other features are electronic mail, bisynchronous communications, SNA-based communications and document transfer capabilities. Memory and storage vary. The OMS 40-2 costs $80,000.
