unfortunately i am a once proud possessor of your model FF10 twin super-date camera. it worked well for me from new,,and--about 2 years ago, something went wrong. i sent it for repair but got a reply saying--" req. main flex and battery contacts--parts no longer available--return not repaired ".....what a shock for me!! i bought ricoh for it's quality, and you can't supply parts.....what sort of service is that from a company i thought was top of the range????? i buy the best camera on earth, take fabulous photos around the world, and--when i need a repair you tell me 'throw it away, we no longer care for that model!!!!!!!!' so where do i go from here--i have the receipt from the repair company here, and i spoke to them on the 'phone, and i spoke to our consumer affairs department, only to be told that the quality of a product relies on the eficiency of the providor--and YOU are my providor!!!! pefrectly good camera---it still tells me the day and date---and because you no longer care for real photgraphy i am left with a white elephant. do you still have--somewhere on earth--in your many offices-- a 'main flex and battery' for model FF10 twin super date, model no. BD 237600 ??? i hope you do, because i'd hate to have to tell people that your product is disposable, and ot worth the cost of the receipt.....thank you--in advance--for the reepair i'm sure you will make......garry renshaw
