While the average robot purchaser is a hobbyist or is drawn by the novelty, the robotics industry is growing. Marketing and marketing support will play a large role in the growth of this market. Several companies have developed robots, some are selling them in kit form, and are gearing toward the educational market. Some photos of the more popular robots are shown.

Educated Consumer is Best Component Video Customer

Article Abstract:

With the changing perception in home entertainment, consumers are becoming more aware of the component market particularly the television monitor. To spur sales of such products manufacturers as well as dealers will need to advertise. It is suggested that the dealer set up displays and educate salespeople in the benefits of the component market.

Profits have not kept pace with growing telephone sales. The flooded market has resulted in depressed prices and stiff competition. The new telephone services, cordless, number memory, etc., are also keeping manfacturers and retailers guessing. The new cordless market is especially volatile.
