Article Abstract:

To meet the standards of the European bureau of Meeting Planners International, a hotel must pass quite a few tests. Airport availability and road travel to and from is just one of many concerns. Public transportation and taxi service must be available. Special rates and accomodations for larger groups are important. Entertainment, shopping, and culture must be at hand or nearby to pass the test. Altoghther, over twenty questions are asked to pass the exam. A number of photographs of some hotels researched are included.

Business conferences for executives must be planned very thoroughly because their time is one of the most valuable resources of any company's assets. You need a checklist in order to examine the best suited hotel for your conference needs. In Great Britain the Regency Hotel Association seems to best fit most conference requirements mainly because of their staff quality and stiff association requirements.

Two hotels are featured for business in the United Kingdom. The Sheraton Skyline, while near the airport, is recommended. It is close to business centers and has fine accomodations. Conference facilities are good. Also recommended is the London West Hotel. Pictures of both hotels are shown.
