Silent, sturdy Toshio-brand machines race through stacks of bank notes: TS-580A

Article Abstract:

Herny Yung Co., Ltd. of Taiwan offers a Toshio TS-580A bank note counter model with a floor-standing design with casters that allows the machine to be transported in various locations. It has an automatic dust-resistant shutter that remains open for as long as the users' fingers are in contact with the device. It also has an automatic holder lock and alarm that sounds if the bill tally does not match the preset number. Batches are settable form one to 999 while the counting rate is at 100 notes for every 4 sec. The machine, which consumes 450W, weighs 43 kg and has dimensions of 350mm x 380mm x 880mm.

Climax Machine Industry Co., Ltd.'s Model 265 money counter is capable of an accuracy of 99.99% at a counting speed of 100 currency units every four seconds. The machine, which weighs 29 kgs.,is capable of such functions as self-testing, free and batch counting, and quick counting. Taiwan-based Climax's Model 265 counter also has the optional stamp and shutter feature, a function that marks correctly counted bundles with "Ok" and aids in reducing noise, blocking dust, and acting as a safety device capable of stopping the machine if needed.

Taiwan Telecommunication Industry Company Ltd, which among the first Taiwanese firms to design and make plain-paper facsimiles utilizing thermal-transfer output technologies, is unveiling its TF-120PT fax machine capable of transmitting A4 paper at up to eight seconds a page. With the capability to broadcast transmissions to up to 128 destinations, TF-120PT features a built-in digital answering system and a built-in handset.
