Sharp Corp's participation at CeBIT '99 in Hannover, Germany, from Mar 18, 1999 to Mar 24, 1999, highlighted its products' compact but versatile features. The company's display included its HC-4600A handheld palmtop computer that incorporates such softwares as MPEG Player and PC File Viewer. Other items at the exhibit include the UX-310 and UX-470 fax machines, the AL-1220 and AL-1520 digital laser copiers and the XG-NV5XE LCD video and data projector.

Other items exhibited include the UC-1000 desktop collator, the Tapit-W automatic bundler, the F-45A paper folder and the VS-200 paper drilling device.
