An architect's model

Article Abstract:

ArchiCAD 6.0 is more costly than other similar products at 3995 pounds sterling for the first licence but it does have the benefit of offering comprehensive 2D and 3D modelling and imaging tools and therefore does not need additional add-ons. ArchiCad was simple to install on a 300 MHz Pentium PC with 128 MB RAM. Graphisoft have created ArchiCAD for the use of architects therefore it offer many of the features they require, such as a very good element library. Some users may find the on-line help system inadequate and the package does suffer from slow plan-section updates.
