Another top exec leaves InfoUSA

Article Abstract:

InfoUSA, the database compiler formerly American Business Information, continues to lose some of its top executives, the latest of whom is chief financial officer Steven Purcell. Purcell, who announced his resignation July 31, 1998, is the third top-level officer to depart from the company in a month. The two others are CEO Scott Dahnke, who left Aug. 1, 1998; and chief operating officer Jon Wellman, who resigned July 1, 1998. Despite the departures and management turnovers, Chairman and CEO Vin Gupta states that the moves do not create additional work for him and that he does not intends to hire a new CEO. InfoUSA has recently introduced a new Web site that will allow small businesses to get prospect lists and access to business profiles, directories and research tools.
