Big walnut augmentation/rickenbacker interceptor (BWARI) tunnel project

Article Abstract:

The Bwari project located in Ohio is part of a series of sewer improvement projects that will augment the flow capacity for sewers conveying sewage to the Wastewater Treatment plant. The impact of the project will be to the extent of reducing the sewage overflows to the river from thirty per cent per year to approximately, two per cent per year, as well as, providing storage capacity to hold sewage during peak flow events for later treatment.

Odelouca-Funcho water transfer tunnel delivered on time

Article Abstract:

In order to meet the demand for water from PortugalEs Algrave tourist region, a new earth dam is being constructed at Odelouca, connecting its water transfer tunnel to the already existing 3m-diameter pipeline from the Funcho dam to the main treatment plant. Terratec Robbins TBM tunneling is chosen for the 8km drive.
