CCI awarded contract to join MariTEL team

Article Abstract:

Harris Corp has awarded San Diego, CA-based Cubic Corp's subsidiary, Cubic Communications Inc (CCI), a contract worth $3.4 million to work on the marine VHF radiotelephone network being built by New York, NY-based MariTEL. CCI Pres Rick Lober said that his company's new digital signal processing-based maritime base station transceivers and antenna systems will be key elements of the national MariTEL network. He noted that MariTEL's system will use a new generation of marine radios which operate more like telephones.

Year-round boat show is coming to California

Article Abstract:

The Southern California based developer, Dan Hamilton plans to build 30-dealership complex with a Marina Developers LLC. The 'permanent in-water boat show' will include a 300-slip marina that will also serve as a display and trial/testing area for the dealers and their customers.
