Deere distributors join manager's club

Article Abstract:

Deere Power Systems Group of Waterloo, Iowa, has inducted its distributors Industrial-Irrigation Services of Hastings, NE, Greensboro, NC-based North American Engine Co., Delta, British Columbia-based Frontier Equipment Ltd. and Engines Inc. of Weiner, AR, to the company's John Deere Engine Distributor Manager's Club. Deere Power, which is Deere Co.'s engine and drive components division, stressed that the four distributors were included in the club because they have shown excellence in marketing achievements, sales growth and overall business management.

Chuck Butler

Kennesaw, GA-based Yamaha Marine Group Co has made a series of staff additions and promotions in its OEM sales division designed to help the company meet what it calls record demand for its outboard engines. The company has named Chuck Butler as OEM technical support manager. Arne Irwin and Chris Folan have both been named OEM regional sales managers. Kim Lawrence will serve as OEM regional sales and marketing coordinators. Becki Walsh has been named regional sales and marketing coordinator.

Ford Power Products

Article Abstract:

Ford Power Products (FPP) has formed a marketing alliance with Maxion International, in which FPP will sell Maxion diesel engines in North America. It will market the diesel engines FPP for industrial, marine and off-highway applications. FPP is a marketer of spark-ignited diesel engines that run on gasoline, natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. On the other hand, Maxion is a subsidiary of International Truck and Engine Corp, and has facilities in Brazil and Argentina.
