EduVerse readies test campaign for CD-ROM program

Article Abstract:

EduVerse Accelerated Learning Systems Inc. of Reno, NV, intends to promote its English learning software with a test campaign beginning Apr 1999. The CD-ROM called English Pro is aimed at the Hispanic community. The test campaign will consist of short-form advertisements which will be shown on Spanish language channels in Texas, Southern California and Southern Florida. The six-week campaign will also be aired on at least one Spanish shopping channel.

Deal gives colleges access to Ticketmaster network

Article Abstract:

Database firm Paciolan Systems Inc has signed a three-year deal with Tickemaster Corp. Under the deal, sports and entertainment venues that distribute tickets through Paciolan's database can automatically transfer ticket inventories to Ticketmaster's global network serving its call centers, retail centers and Web site. The service is available to Paciolan customers who enter into service contracts with Ticketmaster.

Future Thunder to shoot anti-theft commercial

Article Abstract:

Lawman Armor Corp of Philadelphia, PA, has tapped Future Thunder of Sherman Oaks, CA, to produce an infomercial for its anti-theft device for cars called unBRAKEable Autolock. The product works by locking the brake pedal to make the car undriveable, unlike its main competitor the Club which locks the steering wheel. The brake lock will cost $60-$70 each.
