Builders group solves label dilemma

Article Abstract:

The United Marine Manufacturer's Assn Inc (UMMA) has solved a problem that has greatly affected the fiberglass boat industry due to the discontinuance of the Rotex label machine two years ago in 1998. The solution was a new label machine for in-mold serial numbers called LBL 2000, which was developed for UMMA by Monarch Manufacturing Works Inc. The new labeling machine is an industrial-grade embossing system that provides a similar function as the Rotex machine, which is to produce reverse, backward letters for serial numbers on fiberglass boats .
