Golf village magnifies value of interior lots

Article Abstract:

Denver, CO-based land planner David Jensen believes that curvilinear plans make communities more interesting than the usual grid plans. He develops his communities by integrating walk paths, open spaces, small setbacks and landscaping to give pedestrians opportunities to explore the neighborhood and lessen automobiles' negative impacts. Greatwood Cove in Houston, TX, illustrates Jensen's philosophy. This golf course village succeeds in giving the whole community high overall value and making even interior lots attractive options.

Rock Creek success shows Denver market strength

Article Abstract:

Consistent housing market leader Richmond Homes has logged a record of 1200 single-family home sales in 1992 for a total of $220 million revenues. This brisk sales is due to the fact that Richmond's housing development community Rock Creek fills up the pent-up demand created by the building permit moratoria in the Denver-Boulder corridor. In addition, Richmond has an inventory of 20,000 lots, 4,000 of it in Rock Creek alone.
