Great Lakes study links dredging to low water

Article Abstract:

Marina owners and other businesses that operate on Lakes Huron and Michigan are concerned about a new study that dredging in St. Clair River is prompting erosion and causing water levels in these two lakes to plummet. But reports from the Army Corps of Engineers have instilled confidence in the marina operators about the situation.
