Grey, i3Mobile team to send health reminders via wireless devices

Article Abstract:

New York, NY-based healthcare communications services company Grey Healthcare Group (GHG) has formed an alliance with Stamford, CT-based mobile communication services provider i3Mobile to deliver wireless health reminders to prescription drug users. Both firms will begin developing new services using i3Mobile's wireless system to build a reminder network that will flash health messages to the pagers, mobile telephones and personal digital assistants of prescription users. The service aims to increase consumer loyalty to prescription brands.

Site sells medical-imaging supplies

Article Abstract:

London, OH-based communications and information management firm Marconi Medical Systems has launched its first Internet World Wide Web-based online business site for selling medical imaging supplies. The Web site of the company's Marconi Health Care Products unit at www.marconihcp.com will give doctors and hospitals constant, up-to-date access to 32,000 medical imaging products. The company believes that roughly 90% of US hospitals will be able to link to the site through alliances with group purchasing organizations.

DMers Answer Call for Disaster Relief

Article Abstract:

After the September 11 terrorist attack, the Direct Marketing Association sent out emails to the industry urging companies to contribute. The American Teleservices Association organized call center operators to help organize a telephone campaign to raise money.
