IMREX wins praise despite a poor turnout

Article Abstract:

The first International Marine Repair and Refit Exhibition and Conference (IMREX) held in Fort Lauderdale, FL, from Apr 14, 2000, through Apr 16, 2000, garnered positive reviews from participants despite its low turnout. This event reportedly drew only 404 visitors, including yacht owners, yacht captains and members of the yachting and marine repair and refit sectors. The show is intended to enable industry players to network, share information and learn about the latest technologies and regulations affecting the ownership, operation and management of contemporary yachts.
