Innovations reduce injuries

Article Abstract:

Masonry workers often experience musculoskeletal disorders due to the physical nature of their job. To reduce risk of injuries among workers, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health organized a masonry stakeholder meeting that identified innovations in equipment and work practices. A survey was also conducted by University of Oregon researchers in order to determine regional differences in the use of some innovations.
