Internet brings need for global services

Article Abstract:

Brand localization company International Communications has launched a three-pronged strategy to globalize the scope and reach of its services. The company change its name to intl.com; acquired French localization company Motus, which specializes in information technology, finance, law and sciences; and formed a partnership with SunFlare Co Ltd in Japan. International Communications said that it is shfiting its focus from advising multinationals about local brand development to helping Web- related businesses build a global presence.

Robinson & Maites repositions itself as a full-service agency

Article Abstract:

Robinson & Maites (R&M) has decided to reposition itself as full-service marketing agency after 40 years as a sales promotion agency. The move is intended to eliminate perceptions that R&M did not offer any other marketing services. R&M will now remove "promotion" from its tag line and has trademarked a new term, "The Marketing Solutions Agency." The agency has increased its services from traditional promotions and direct marketing programs to include distribution, customer acquisition, management, planning and positioning.

Online advertisers are given several tips on how to effectively connect with customers, and thus, be able to close sales transactions. They are advised to develop advertising and marketing offers that are interactive as well as absorbing so as to hook potential customers and to get them involved. They are, however, reminded not to resort to intrusive ways of increasing impact since this usually annoys website visitors.
