Marubeni Engine and Power Corp of Carrollton, TX, has agreed to become the licensed distributor of Tohatsu outboard engines for the whole of US. The company decided to carry the brand after its success in being the US and Canadian distributor of Nissan Marine outboards. Marubeni general manager and national sales manager Jim Morgenthaler has expressed confidence on the Tohatsu line because the groundwork for its success has already been laid by the Nissan brand.
