Merc, Yamaha will be going to arbitration

Article Abstract:

The dispute between Yamaha Marine Engine Co., and BrunswickEs Mercury Marine division is discussed. It may be recalled that Brunswick filed a case against Yamaha in the U.S. District Court of Wisconsin alleging that Yamaha had hiked the prices of its power heads even though they were covered under a contract between the two companies. In accordance with the court's order, Yamaha has filed for arbitration with International Chamber of Commerce.

Yamaha, Skeeter to pay paraplegic $6 million

Article Abstract:

Yamaha Motor Corp. and Skeeter Products Inc., agreed to pay $6 million settlement in a lawsuit filed by a man paralyzed in a boating accident. The court cleared both companies from charges of any reckless behavior in the case originally demanding $63 million as compensation.
