Mr Macob
Article Abstract:
Contractual adjudicator Eric Mouzer, an associate partner with quantity surveyor Harold Crowter Associates, earned the nickname Mr Macob through his refereeing of Macob vs Morrison, the first adjudication decision to be contested in the UK's Technology and Construction Court. Since the case in 1998, Mouzer has been involved in 15 contractual disagreements worth between 8,000 pounds sterling and 500,000 pounds sterling. Mouzer is conscientious and scrupulously fair in his approach and he hopes that adjudication will become a successful alternative to resolving construction industry disputes.
