NMMA chief addresses 'myths' at media summit

Article Abstract:

National Marine Manufacturers Assn (NMMA) pres Thom Dammrich announced that they are considering the consolidation of its boat show operations and gave his reactions to certain 'myths' that have become associated with the NMMA during a "media summit" held in Chicago in Apr 2000. Some of the 'myths' allege that the NMMA is an empire that wants to devour all boat shows and associations and that it is a fortress that is cut off from the industry and controlled by big businesses.
