Neotraditional village has early 1900s look

Article Abstract:

Florida developer Jerry Zivan envisioned the Village of Bolton at Bluewater Bay, FL, as a neotraditonal village reminiscent of the early 1900s. He formulated the design criteria which took into consideration the diversity that characterized the early villages but also allowed more modern features which were made to appear like recent remodelling extensions to previously built structres. Zivan also specified the features which characterized such villages, including sidewalks, old-fashioned streetlights, white picket fences and porches. The resulting design possessed an authentic look truly reflecting a bygone era.
