Fragmentation of the media started with the introduction of cable network, which revolutionized the view the public watched TV with channels devoted to specific topics. Internet has further expanded those changes with giving the consumer complete control over online site surfing. Though the cable industry faced some difficulty initially net did not encounter any such problems and expanded much faster and shall continue to do so.
