NetPost extended to nonprofits

Article Abstract:

The US Postal Service (USPS) is making its NetPost Mailing Online service available to non-profit mailers at non-profit rates. NetPost has previously been available only to First-Class or standard mail but nonprofits can now avail of the service at basic automation bar-coded rates. The online service allows mailers to transmit documents, correspondence, or newsletters electronically, along with their mailing lists, to the USPS via the latter's Web site.

Four-state barcode, OneCode set for Sept. 1

Article Abstract:

The four-state barcode and OneCode solutions of United States Postal Service begins for all letter mail by September 1. The four-state barcode tracks about 1 billion pieces of mail at a time while OneCode Confirm allows mailers to use four-state barcodes to access the agency's Confirm service.
